Argentina J2 / El Calafate
We crossed Argentina from North to South this morning by plane. As our Lonely Planet says, this is supposedly the same kind of flight that brought to St Exupery the idea for “Le Petit Prince”… I will trust them…
The arrival to El Calafate is probably one of the most incredible landing we have done so far. On the right side: the andes, lagos of incredible blue and green and endless pampa!!
Great!?
(in the back, 3 pikes, our next destination: Fitz Roy range)
We spent the end of the day walking in Protected Area for birds close to El Calafate:
The view on Lago Argentina
And the birds
Tomorrow, we are going to El Chalten to see the Fitz Roy. Photos will be coming later.

Argentina J1 / Buenos Aires
Here we are in Buenos Aires, after a long, long, long flight (and time spent in airport). We visited each and every luxe stores (what do we do now, Hermes or Rolex?
), played Playstation3 and got bored. The only funny story in this, is that when we were almost boarding, we had to change gates to another part of the airport. 5 minutes before start they had the flight to Buenos Aires and Singapore mixed. You really wonder how its working behind the scene…
Sadly, our Internet/Computer access does not allow us to upload today’s pictures, you will have to wait… First day in Buenos Aires was really good.
Tomorrow, early flight to El Calafate in Patagonia… Glaciers and trekking
Hasta Luego
