The Japanese exhibit at LACMA is both hosted in an incredible building, which has the same light as a traditional Japanese home with screens, and of great quality. My favorite, the jellyfish painting.

Sadly we never made it, with a GPS (!), to Big Basin Redwood State Park. We stopped on our way to take pictures of the kitsurfers. I wish I had windsurf gear: good wind and nice waves.

On our way down to Santa Cruz, we make our first stop at San Gregorio beach. Even on a sunny and calm day, you instantaneously get the feeling that the Pacific ocean is somewhat special.

Two vision of the same place, the weather at Point Reyes can be entirely different from one place to the other.

This is the bay we can see far on the right of the panorama.

This is the way to the lighthouse 30 minutes later, at the far left of the panorama. A thick fog is rapidly rising from the sea.
