Pictures of wildlife from our trip in California – species to be added soon…

Sadly we never made it, with a GPS (!), to Big Basin Redwood State Park. We stopped on our way to take pictures of the kitsurfers. I wish I had windsurf gear: good wind and nice waves.

On our way down to Santa Cruz, we make our first stop at San Gregorio beach. Even on a sunny and calm day, you instantaneously get the feeling that the Pacific ocean is somewhat special.

Two vision of the same place, the weather at Point Reyes can be entirely different from one place to the other.

This is the bay we can see far on the right of the panorama.

This is the way to the lighthouse 30 minutes later, at the far left of the panorama. A thick fog is rapidly rising from the sea.

From the smallest detail to the big picture…

This is probably the strangest way to introduce the pictures taken during our 1 week California trip, but of around 700 pics, this is the one that stood out in a bizarre way for me.

Point Reyes National Seashore Park – On the stairs down to the lighthouse, the crows play with the wind in the fog, a meter away from us.
